Pocket has shut down. If you have been saving articles for years, you probably have a reading list you do not want to lose. The good news: migrating to wallabag.it takes about ten minutes.

Step 1 — Export your Pocket data

Before or after your Pocket account closes, you can export your reading list:

  2. Download the export file — a CSV containing all your saved URLs

If you can no longer access your Pocket account, check whether you received an export email from Mozilla.

Step 2 — Create a wallabag.it account

Head to wallabag.it and start your 14-day free trial. No credit card required, no commitment.

Step 3 — Import your Pocket data

  1. In your wallabag account, open Import in the left-hand menu
  2. Select Pocket
  3. Upload the CSV file from Step 1
  4. wallabag.it fetches the full content of each article automatically

Your articles will appear in your reading list within a few minutes. Tags from Pocket are preserved.
